  1. Each child has his/her own pencil and they may sharpen them using the electric sharpener before class or if we are doing independent work, though there may not be a line and you can only do it once per day.

  3. I have a ready supply sharpened at the table for those who never have one or it always breaks!

  4. Each student has a pencil that when it becomes dull or broken may be switched out for a sharpened pencil. The student must deposit the pencil in the "not sharp" bucket and take a new pencil from the "sharp" bucket. I sharpen more pencils each morning to have a supply ready!

  5. I am the only one allowed to use the pencil sharpener! I keep a supply of sharp pencils at the ready but only put one or two in the sharp bin at a time. Dealing with pencils with my little friends is a cat and mouse game all year! hehe

  7. I have one of these fabulous little sharpeners and I have never felt so at ease turning the sharpening over to the kids! It is amazing and so very quiet! My problem is that I have 26 students and one is still not enough to get them all through in a short amount of time. A second would be optimal to speed up our sharpening time! Fingers crossed!
